Malvika is an interdisciplinary artist based in London, ON (Traditional lands of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee , Lūnaapéewak and Attawandaron peoples). They are a first generation immigrant, an uninvited settler, whose work often grapples with the ethics of living well with others in compromised times. They joined GoodSport in 2022 as a resident artist.

"I am currently engaged in rethinking and proposing alternative sensorial re-imaginings of early childhood assemblages through ecological sound art as my methodology. My work is situated in post-humanism and feminist new-materialism theories as such I am interested in exploring layers, depths, flatness, transparency in phenomena."
